MRHC will have a full time Executive Director in early 2002. MRHC has a history of two successful housing projects in its eight+ years of existence: Thompson Corner at River Valley Ranch in Carbondale: a neighborhood of 60 single family and duplex Victorian style homes; and Ullr Commons in Aspen, a small lodge converted to 26 employee housing rental units. MRHC has partnered with the local chapter of the Salvation Army to acquire funding for the Homeless Sleep Center (Shelter) in the Roaring Fork Valley, and has helped the Salvation Army to create the Homeless Day Center, which is open and serving approximately 80 persons per month.
